Naznin Haji
I’m a CPD-accredited Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner with over a decade of experience in education, alongside my training in counselling and psychotherapy using an Islamic psycho-spiritual framework. I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard, understood and supported.
I have experience working with people across different ages and stages of life, from young people navigating emotions, relationships and the challenges of growing up, to adults and older women experiencing life transitions, relationship difficulties, stress and questions around purpose and wellbeing.
I support clients with anxiety, low mood, depression, trauma, bereavement, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem, boundaries, relationship difficulties, marital and pre-marital counselling, workplace stress and the challenges of everyday life. You don’t have to be in crisis to seek support, sometimes we simply need a safe space to understand what we’re experiencing and find a way forward.
My approach combines therapeutic practice with an Islamic psycho-spiritual perspective, where this is appropriate and meaningful to the client. I believe wellbeing involves not only understanding our emotions, but also exploring our values, relationships, choices through the lense of faith, meaning and purpose.
Every client has a unique story, so I take an individualised and collaborative approach. Together, we can explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop healthier ways of responding, and build greater self-awareness, confidence and emotional resilience.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationships, bereavement, past experiences, work or family pressures, or simply feeling unsure about your direction, I provide a safe space to pause, reflect and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
