Tayyib Nawaz
With a background spanning psychology, NHS mental health services and international humanitarian work, he is passionate about helping individuals navigate emotional challenges with compassion, professionalism and faith. His journey into mental health began with studying psychology and has since developed into a career dedicated to supporting people through some of life's most difficult moments.
As an NHS Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, he provides evidence-based support for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, phobias and obsessive-compulsive difficulties, drawing on clinically recognised therapeutic approaches alongside a compassionate, person-centred style. His previous role within an NHS Crisis Teaminvolved supporting individuals presenting in mental health crisis, providing risk assessments and immediate support during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Beyond clinical practice, his experience with Global Relief Trust took him to humanitarian projects across Türkiye, Syria, Bangladesh, Burundi, Yemen and other regions affected by conflict and crisis. These experiences have shaped a deep appreciation for resilience, gratitude and the importance of supporting the emotional and spiritual wellbeing of individuals from all walks of life.
At Eclectic House®, he combines evidence-based psychological practice with Islamic principles to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can better understand themselves, overcome challenges and move towards lasting emotional wellbeing and personal growth.
